David Freemantle's

new book

Dr David Freemantle

Mabuhay!

This webite provides information about Dr David Freemantle and is named after a best-sellling book entitled SUPERBOSS which David wrote in 1985. It is also named after a company called Superboss Ltd which ceased trading in the UK in 2007 when David decided to retire and emigrate to the Philippines.

He has been unsuccessful in his attempt to retire, and now at the young age of 67 he still travels the world presenting seminars on world-class customer service, leadership and motivation. He is in great demand for example in China which he has visited five times in the last nine months, presenting to large audiences in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Xiamen,  Foshan and Shanghai.

David is also the author of 16  books five of which have been international best-sellers and three of which have been total failures.  His first book Superboss was published in 20+ languages but is now out of print except in India where it sells very few copies (judging by the zero royalties he receives). His latest book WANTED (How to become the most wanted employee around) has just been published by Pearson-Prentice-Hall and is his best yet.

On stage David has been described as a 'lumbering giant' for the simple reason he is overweight and not as fit as he would like to be.  Even so his seminars tend to be iconoclastic and he has a reputation for being very provocative.  He makes his audiences think!

David's dream is to get up late every morning and spend a couple of hours writing books in his office  before going two floors up to the roof-top swimming pool and taking a cool dip in the crystal clear blue waters under the tropical sun. After lunch he'll take a nap and then get down to the business of writing again. On most days this dream is unfulfilled.

Should you want David to present a seminar (or speech, or workshop or training program or whatever you call it) he would be happy to hear from you. However to persuade him to perform for you be prepared to pay him a large fee plus a return business class fare to wherever you are in the world together with a two-room suite in a five star hotel.  If you are in the UK you can waive the business class fare from Manila to London as he will seize the opportunity to visit his family and friends, take a walk in the park and visit many different branches of Waterstones to see if his new book WANTED is on sale.

It is best to contact him by email as he rarely answers his phones due to all the time he spends in aeroplanes and on stage.  Please allow a few days for him to reply.

Meanwhile he would be delighted if you meander around this site.  Be prepared for a few surprises!
